Is-sinjal għal RAMLA magħmul minn żewġ partijiet. (i) L-ewwel isir is-sinjal għal BAĦAR. Id waħda tieħu l-forma ta’ 5 miftuħ u timxi bil-pala tħares ’l isfel ftit ’il fuq u ’l isfel f’kurva baxxa minn-nofs lura għall-ġenb. (ii) Imbagħad isir is-sinjal għal RAMEL, jiġifieri, id waħda jew tnejn jieħdu l-forma ta’ 5 imma bis-saba’ l-kbir imiss mas-swaba’ l-oħra u bil-pala tal-id tħares ’l isfel. Il-ponot tas-swaba’ jogħrku lil xulxin bħal meta wieħed iroxx il-melħ. Fl-istess ħin l-idejn jitilgħu ’il fuq fil-ġnub.
The sign for SANDY BEACH consists of two parts. (i) The first part is the sign for SEA. One hand takes the shape of open 5 with palm facing down. The hand moves up and down in a small curve back to the side. (ii) The second part is the sign for SAND. One or both hands take the shape of 5 but with the thumb touching the other fingers and the palm facing downwards. The finger tips rub against each other, as though sprinkling salt, whilst the hands move upwards at the sides.
